Mövenpick Samarkand

Beautiful and comfortable chain hotel, ideal location for exploring the city. Located in the old "Russian Imperial" part of the city, which is more reminiscent of St. Petersburg than the cities of Uzbekistan. But Close to major historical more ancient landmarks such as Registan Square and Tamerlane's Mausoleum. Nice spa area with pool. Small comments - the sauna was not working for some reason and we did not ask for it to be turned on as we like hammam. The hammam is warm, about 42 degrees Celsius, we would have liked a little hotter.

We stayed 3 nights in a family room (5666 and 5777), it consits of 2 rooms connected. Very spacious, with shower very easy to use( good for elderly), very very confy beds and pillows and plenty of amenities such as toothbrush and paste. The shampoo is very good and the shower gel as well (conditioner not so much). They have a safe and mini fridge (dis not work properly because it is enclosed in a piece of furniture, keeping it hot as a boiler and quite noisy). Windows prevent the noise from the street very well. Breakfast with a wide range of products and of very good quality. They have an indoors and outside pool, perfect for kids. The entire hotel very quiet and 15 min walk from Registon.

The location and the premises itself were amazing ! Lots of greenery and facilities such as gym, indoor and outdoor pools… The lobby space and the bar are really spacious and nice, especially for big groups. There were 3 atm machines, which is very convenient.

Like everything about the property. Facilities are exceptional especially the sauna, Turkish hamam, indoor pool, outdoor pool and breakfast at a restaurant. The location is nice as well. You have plenty of good restaurants next to the hotel in fact a whole food street just 400 meters away. Very close to Tashkent central garden and shopping mall(Markor) Close to Registan square just 450 metres away. What makes your experience exceptional is the people. The movenpick hotel has the most humble and accommodating staff. Movenpick lives up to its reputation of providing the best of experience. Thank you again for making our stay wonderful and memorable.
